- IEstablished an Ergonomics Scholarship 1990/91 which provides two $500 awards annually to outstanding undergraduate ME students. (Funds from short course profits.)
- IEstablished a course entitled Functional Anatomy for Engineers in 1989. This course is offered alternate years and allows engineering students to perform cadaver dissection. (Noted above in courses taught.)
- IEstablished a course entitled Clinical Experience for Engineers 1987 in which ME students assist with the clinical evaluation of ergonomic related problems in the Occupational Medicine Clinic.
- IDr. Bloswick received the Borchard-Bennion Fellowship in 1991-1994. This is to facilitate the inclusion of a community service component in ME515, Ergonomics.
- IDr. Bloswick provided assistance to Montana Tech and Colorado State University in establishing ergonomics course offerings at those institutions, 1991.
- IDr. Bloswick provided project supervision for a student interested in ergonomics at Utah State University. Project involved field analysis of ergonomic problems, 1991/92
- IDr. Bloswick and Peter Budnick, one of his Ph.D. students, developed a Safety Course Module for EE Circuits in 1990/91. This 8-hour module will be distributed by NIOSH to Colleges of Engineering throughout the U.S.A. ($9,700).
- IDr. Bloswick developed and presented a Two-Day Workshop, 'Safety for Engineering Faculty' , in April 1990. This workshop was attended by 35 engineering faculty of 15 colleges and universities in 7 states. ($9,800 ).
