Step 6 - Running the Analysis

In the previous steps we have defined everything necessary and we can now start the global sensitivity analysis.

One last item to check is the settings for the runtime engine. For the performance of MECHANICA it is crucial that the temporary files are stored locally and not on a network server. These files are accessed very frequently and the network would slow down the process unnecessarily. It is also a good idea to specify the amount of RAM allocated to MECHANICA. PTC generally recommends the allocation of 45% of the physical memory available or maximum performance.
