Beam Bending Simulation

Eberhard Bamberg, MIT, 2001

Within the MIT iCampus project, we use it as a tool to create online simulations of material taught in Mechanics and Materials I, an introductory course in Mechancical Engineering at MIT. One example of such a simulation is the beam bending applet (requires 1.30 Java-plugin), where up to two beams can be analyzed by varying the cross section, material, boundary condition, and loading condition.
